amount of destruction due to vandalism on your windows. Sometimes it is an excellent solution to this frustrating problem and sometimes it is not.
Pros:
A/G film provides outstanding protection for your expensive
windows. Film delivers a number of advantages that you might find
helpful:
•...Repels many of the Types of Vandalism. Repels acid etching, markers and paint. Graffiti is washed off and your windows are back to normal.
•Excellent UV filter. Reduces UV exposure by 95%. Reduce the amount of sun damage to display items.
•Strong Barrier 6 ml film rarely allows any type of cutting tool to reach the glass itself. Use of lesser materials such as 3 ml or 4 ml are a waste of your money.
•Secure Barrier. Although not a "security" film, anti-graffiti film acts to help protect from accidental shattering, break-ins and flying glass in case of earthquake or explosion.
•Saves Money. When you change the film out instead of the
glass you save money. A pane of glass is far more expensive than a pane of
film. This is a far better solution than glass replacement.
Cons:
Yes, anti-graffiti film is an excellent choice ... if ... your windows are vandalized by acid, paint or markers. But, your windows may be damaged by vandals using cutting tools such as rocks, knives, or carbide-tipped scribes. Although the film will prevent these types of cutting tools from reaching the glass, the film itself will be destroyed. You will need to replace the entire film.
Cash flow might be an issue. It could be less expensive to do spot repairing
than to cover all exposed and vulnerable glass. Spot repairing is most
effective when each episode of vandalism is repaired immediately.
