San Francisco was the home of the 1st Zero Graffiti International Conference in 2013. This article describes yet another prolific graffiti vandal. I HATE it when the media uses the term graffiti artist. Artists don't cost their cities millions of dollars. I'm sure any help from our Graffiti Fighter Members apprehending this individual would be appreciated.

Hello Graffiti Fighters,
The City of Phoenix is conducting a survey regarding graffiti abatement efforts and their impacts on your community. They have created a series of 15 questions that address what type of programs your jurisdiction offers, implementation and the impacts on reducing the amount of graffiti tags in your area.
You may access the survey with the link provided below. Please respond by Friday, August 15. Your input is greatly appreciated.
Graffiti in the news in Louisville. The Louisville Municipal Police Department (LMPD) does not maintain a list of graffiti or tagging arrests. This attitude towards graffiti is what sparked community advocate Josh White to form the Graffiti Abatement Coalition of Louisville. White has been meeting with community leaders and city officials to tackle graffiti, one tagger at a time. He believes there's a disconnect in Louisville when it comes to reporting graffiti. Either people are doing it wrong or the reports aren't landing in the right hands.
Good job Josh. Keep up the good fight. Ignoring the problem doesn't make it go away.

This may not be new to some but I found it amazing. The video explains where to get, and how to use a free app that makes it possible for anyone to take a photo off the internet and find out where it was taken. For graffiti investigations this would be incredibly valuable, and for the average person who posts pics on Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, Twitter etc - critical!!! Thank you Kristina for sharing.

When does graffiti become art? I would have to say rarely when you consider a reported 25 Billion Dollars was spent last year dealing with the mess left by graffiti vandals. For the full article click HERE.

Here is an e-mail we received from one of our Graffiti Fighter Members in northern California.
" Any chance you have any law enforcement contacts in NY, specifically the Brooklyn area? We just arrested a tagger here that lived in NY for over a year and I was able to find a photo online of one of his tags in NY. I wanted to give them a heads up."
We were of course more than happy to put them in contact with one of our Graffiti Fighter Members in New York. We currently have just under 300 members around the world. GOOD JOB Graffiti Fighters. Keep up the good work!!!!
